 1 John 1  2  3  4  5

From KJV 1 John 1:1-10

1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
1 John 1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
1 John 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Yes i am concern that i have in my spiritual walk with God committed Apostasy that means that i have done something that has cause me to abandon that faith of Jesus Christ. I love that Lord and i have never wanted to do anything to cause me to lost fellowship with God.

My life now seems to be going backwards. for there is a scripture that the Holy Spirit led me to that is found in Hebrews 10:26 in this verse i have been under great conviction in my life.

i have had dreams that has tormented me just as in says in the 27-29 verse of this chapter in hebrews. i have suffer so much to that i pray that the Lord has not forsaken me. that is what brought to this scripture in 1 John 1:9.

My question is is this verse in Hebrews telling one that they have committed the unpardonable sin or is this just a great punishment that onew must go through.

Please help me understand thank you

Rightly dividing the scriptures is critical to understanding certain verses. Being under the wrong teaching will always have you doubting your salvation. I think I'm qualified to respond to such questions. First there is not a scripture in the new testament that teaches a born again Christian that is saved could lose his or her salvation. Once I learned the truth about eternal security of a believer I learned that people get tribulation verses mixed up with the day of grace. A few verses to assure your heart before God come from John 3:16,Ephesians 1:13,1 John 1:9,ROMANS 9-10. The mere fact that you are concerned about your standing with God should tell that you only need to confess your sins, and God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Believe me if you look in faith to God through Jesus Christ he will not turn you away. He says that whosoever comes to him in faith he will in no wise cast them out. JEREMIAH SAYS CALL ME ,AND I WILL ANSWER YOU AND SHOW YOU GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS YOU KNOW not OF. 3:33. CHECK IT OUT AND YOU'LL BE OVERJOYED TO KNOW NO WAY WILL ANY THING OR ANY BODY REMOVE YOU FROM gOD'S HAND READ ALL THE BOOK OF THE GOSPEL JOHN, THEN READ ALL THREE BOOKS 1JOHN, 2 JOHN, 3 JOHN.
